We partnered with Dixons Carphone to establish them as a key employer of tech talent and not just a tech retailer – with so many exciting projects happening at DC we wanted to make sure candidates knew what an exciting time it was to join a company where they could start, establish and progress their careers.

OUR APPROACH

We conducted market research on each of the individual roles and identified key channels that we included in the campaign to reach the most relevant candidates – this included niche sites, job boards, social channels, and aggregators. Due to the campaign aim of more direct hires and brand awareness we made sure Dixons Carphone were visible on all key media channels. Our media channel strategy combined both traffic driving and visual inventory that redirected candidates to Dixons Carphone’s jobs and landing page for candidates to find out more and apply. Our creative partners created fresh, engaging visuals as well as a website landing page made specifically for the campaign.

We also ran bespoke social campaigns across all 4 business areas and used an outbound approach on certain channels to specifically target our key audience with the most impactful bespoke messaging.

Throughout the campaign we arranged weekly calls with all partners to run through reporting and current results so that we could optimise the campaign in real time and keep shifting focus to the roles that needed more attention. This also allowed Dixons Carphone to track campaign performance.

The campaign in total generated over 790 completed applications which resulted in more then half of the hires being made in a 2-month period. Moving forward we will continue to take insights and successes from this campaign to apply to future campaigns to keep on delivering in a highly competitive market.
